Business Unit Overview 

 

The Chief Technology and AI Office (CTAIO) at PwC Middle East combines strategic foresight with digital innovation to accelerate transformation. Within this platform, PwC's The Difference uses foundations of the MG Taylor methodology to bring together the right people, information, environment and context. We design collaborative experiences that build alignment, improve decisions and move groups from discussion to practical action. 

 

 

How You’ll Contribute 

 

 

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

 

  • Designing and executing manual test cases based on project requirements and specifications  

  • Performing functional, regression, and performance testing across web and mobile platforms  

  • Conducting UI and user experience testing to ensure consistency and usability  

  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using JIRA and other tools  

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and meet quality standards  

  • Participating in User Acceptance Testing and ensuring readiness for release  

  • Applying black-box and white-box testing methodologies to validate system behavior  

  • Managing defect lifecycle and retesting resolved issues  

  • Performing security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance  

  • Continuously improving testing processes and contributing to quality assurance best practices  

 

What You’ll Bring 

 

  • 1–2 years of experience in software quality assurance, including manual testing  

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field  

  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Postman, Fiddler, Eclipse, and VS Code  

  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing  

  • Experience in web and mobile application testing across platforms  

  • Ability to write detailed test cases and manage defect tracking  

  • Knowledge of black-box and white-box testing techniques  

 

Travel Requirements: Your flexibility to travel 10% of the time. This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required. Where possible, we will take your preferences into account and strike a balance between meeting your career development/personal needs and those of the business and our clients.
