BU Description

PwC's Supply Chain Business Unit focuses on helping clients optimise their supply chain operations, manage risk, and drive growth. The unit provides consulting services in the areas of procurment, logistics, manufacturing, and inventory management. PwC's supply chain consultants work with clients across industries, including consumer goods, retail, healthcare, technology, and industrial products. This Unit comprises a team of experienced consultants who bring deep industry expertise and a proven track record of delivering results for clients.

Job Summary

Within the Business Services team you will get the opportunity to analyze client’s business services and shared service operations, including completion of maturity assessments. Roles & Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

  • Develop business services and shared service strategy
  • Produce compelling business cases for change
  • Design of target operating models, and associated implementation plans
  • Leverage PwC tools and methodologies, and apply analytical and problem solving techniques to deliver insight to clients
  • Work closely with other parts of PwC to deliver positive outcomes for PwC clients (e.g. Finance Transformation team, Technology)
  • Deliver presentations on findings and recommendations to clients
  • Facilitate client steering committees and meetings with C-Suite

  • Build trusted and long lasting relationships with clients
  • Develop yourself personally, taking a keen interest in trends in business services, shared services, and sector(s) of your choice so you can help shape their thinking and our success in the market
  • Have knowledge of one or more business service / corporate service functions (e.g. Finance, Procurement, HR etc)
  • Bring exceptional project management skills, from strategy through to execution
  • Act as a mentor and train other members of the business unit and the project team in order to foster a high performance team environment
  • Support with business development activities, including responses to proposal requests and client networking
  • Keep up to date with current trends from the region and from across the world, especially on emerging digital trends and applications
  • work on internal initiatives and proposition development, where required

Educational Qualifications & Certifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant major with a preference for a Masters.
Years of Experience: 3 + years of experience preferably with a background in consulting.
