Managed Services is the delivery and execution business within PwC, providing operational solutions for clients. It brings the best of PwC’s advisory capabilities, our technology expertise and our operational delivery to help clients solve complex problems.

How You’ll Contribute

As a Capital Projects & Infrastructure (CP&I) Managed Services Analyst, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

  • Working on project plans, CAPEX optimization, cost related to contract, procurement and claim reviews as well as project monitoring and controls. 
  • Assist in estimating project costs at different project stages, planning cost, prepare budgets, monitoring budgetary adherence, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. 
  • Support in monitoring project budget, tracking cost, supervising expenditure, processing payments, ensuring adherence to the baseline budget and reporting any deviations or budget slippages as well as implementing cost control procedures to ensure projects stay within budget. 
  • Support in procurement activities including drafting RFPs, administering tenders and tenderers’ queries and evaluating technical and commercial bids. 
  • Participate in cost related risk identification, assessment, and input to mitigate potential project risks. 
  • Conduct Value Engineering practices including the evaluation of alternative materials, processes, and designs to optimize costs and recommend value engineering solutions that reduce costs. 
  • Create and manage related project documentation including reports and technical documentation. 
  • Implement change management procedures through assessment of the financial impact of changes in scope or design as well as to provide cost estimates for change orders and variations. 
  • Provide input for any cost related claims, analyzing project documentation and ensuring adherence to contractual agreements. 
  • Prepare and review the Bill of Quantities and pricing schedule to ensure alignment with the scope of work and requirements. 
  • Support the implementation of quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet established standards. 
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives. 
  • Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project progress and address any challenges. 
  • Maintain and update a database of historical cost data and suppliers/vendors as well as the use of cost estimating software and tools effectively to support cost activities. 
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, cost management techniques and best practices. 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience in project management and project controls, including cost and time management, procurement and tendering, reporting and communications, preferably in the Middle East region 
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent. 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate is a plus. 
  • Certified Cost Professional (CCP) certificate is a plus
