How You’ll Contribute

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will help clients transform how they collect, manage, and use data by designing scalable, secure, and efficient data ecosystems that enable advanced analytics and AI-driven insights. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Data Engineering Delivery
  • Design, build, and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines across on-premises and cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS, Databricks, Informatica and others).
  • Implement data lake and data warehouse solutions, ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost optimization.
  • Apply data modelling techniques (dimensional, star schema, data vault, or equivalent) to structure data for analytics and AI workloads.
  • Develop data quality frameworks, metadata management practices, and lineage tracking aligned with governance standards.
  • Participate in data migration and modernization projects, contributing to architecture design, testing, and deployment phases.
  • Integrate diverse data sources (structured and unstructured) using ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, and real-time streaming frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to operationalize data solutions that enable analytics, visualization, and AI-driven insights.
  • Collaboration and Delivery Excellence
  • Work independently on assigned workstreams, demonstrating ownership of deliverables while supporting overall project success.
  • Engage with clients during delivery phases, addressing data issues, providing insights, and ensuring expectations are met.
  • Maintain quality standards across all work, performing validation checks and ensuring code, documentation, and configurations meet auditability requirements.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and mentoring of junior team members, helping build internal capability in data engineering practices.
  • Digital and Innovation
  • Champion the adoption of new tools, frameworks, and practices that enhance data delivery efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of automation for data validation, monitoring, and testing using DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Contribute to PwC’s Data & Cloud innovation efforts by evaluating emerging technologies (e.g., AI-assisted data engineering tools, Delta Lake, Databricks Unity Catalog, and others).

What You’ll Bring

Data engineering is the practice of designing and building systems for collecting, storing, and analyzing data at scale.

  •  2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in data engineering or data platform development.
  •  Proven experience delivering or supporting data integration, warehousing, and modernization projects.
