How You’ll Contribute

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.  
  • Build and manage containerized applications using Azure Container Apps and Azure Container Registry (ACR).  
  • Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.  
  • Ensure cost-effective, secure, and scalable infrastructure following PwC’s cloud governance standards.  
  • Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and architects to automate workflows and optimize deployments.  
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.  
  • Support environment provisioning and infrastructure automation for AI/ML workloads.  
  • Implement security controls, network restrictions (VNET, VPN), and RBAC policies.  
  • Maintain documentation and follow best practices for compliance and auditing.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your manager (role not narrowly defined).  

What You’ll Bring

  • Years of experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.  
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.  
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus.  
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Container Apps, ACR, Azure Monitor, and Terraform/Bicep.  
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker), Git, YAML pipelines, and CI/CD best practices.  
  • Knowledge of networking, IAM (Azure AD, RBAC, Managed Identities), and security policies.  
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell 
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure), automation, and deployment best practices.  
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.  
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional technical teams.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.  
  • Travel Requirements: Your flexibility to travel 20% of the time. This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required. Where possible, we will take your preferences into account and strike a balance between meeting your career development/personal needs and those of the business and our clients.
