Business Unit Overview

The Digital & Cyber Business Unit brings together deep technology expertise and bold thinking to help organizations thrive in a connected, data-driven world. We support clients in reimagining how they operate, serve, and grow—by harnessing the power of digital products, emerging tech, cloud, data, and cyber resilience.

How You’ll Contribute

As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

Resource Allocation & Planning

· Assign resources to projects based on skills, availability, and business priorities.

· Ensure optimal utilization of resources while balancing workloads.

· Forecast future resource needs based on project pipelines and business growth.

· Technical tools & skills in: (JIRA, Excel, PowerBI, PowerPlatform )

· Leadership reporting.

· Execute and manage operational processes to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and completeness.

· Conduct analysis of key operational metrics to support management and leadership in identifying actions required.

· Proactively identify improvement opportunities and propose practical, data-driven solutions to enhance processes, reporting accuracy, or stakeholder outcomes.

· Provide support ton ad-hoc requests

 

Capacity Management

· Track resources skills, availability, and workload to maximize efficiency.

· Identify resource gaps and recommend hiring and training.

· Work with resource managers and leads counterpart and project managers to align staffing needs based on available resources and skills.

 

Demand Forecasting:

· Use data-driven insights and predictive analytics to align workforce supply with business demand.

· Create scalable resource management models that adapt to changing project and market conditions.

 

Project Support & Coordination

· Collaborate with project managers to ensure the project onboard has the right resources with the needed skills to meet the project's deliverables and objectives.

· Monitor project progress and adjust resource assignments as needed.

· Resolve resource conflicts by prioritizing critical tasks

 

Budget & Billing Management

· Provide reports on resource allocation, utilization, and operational efficiency.

 

Stakeholder Communication

· Act as a bridge between different teams, ensuring clear communication about resource availability and needs.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.

· Facilitate clear and effective communication with stakeholders.

· Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on workforce strategy

 

Risk Management:

· Identify potential bottlenecks or resource shortages and develop contingency plans to mitigate project delays or inefficiencies

 

Process Improvement & Data Analysis

· Implement tools and systems for tracking resource usage and forecasting needs.

· Analyze trends and make data-driven recommendations for improving resource efficiency.

 

What You’ll Bring

· Proficiency in tools like MS Project, Jira, Excel

· Data Analysis: Using Excel, Power BI, or SQL to analyze resource usage and demand trends.

· Knowledge of resource planning systems

· Scheduling & Modeling: Building models to simulate demand scenarios.

· Automation: Creating scripts or workflows to streamline repetitive resource allocation tasks.

· Reporting & Dashboards: Designing clear visualizations to track KPIs (capacity, utilization, demand).

· Technical Domain Knowledge: understanding the technical context of resources being managed.

· Conduct trend analysis to support management and leadership in identifying actions required to achieve defined Objective Key Results (OKRs)

· Collaborate with stakeholders to drive management actions based on metric insight

· Work closely with the Business Unit Ops team to meet any wider operational needs

· Proactively identify improvement opportunities and propose practical, data-driven solutions to enhance processes, reporting accuracy, or stakeholder outcomes.

· Provide support to the Business Unit Ops management team on ad-hoc projects and evolving operational requirements as they arise.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and leadership at all levels

· Facilitate clear and effective communication with stakeholders, articulating the value and impact of the team’s contributions to the business.

· Deliver high-quality output across all responsibilities, proactively escalating issues or risks to the Business Unit Ops management team as necessary.
