How You’ll Contribute

As a APM Governance and Application Onboarding SpecialistThe APM Governance and Application Onboarding Specialist plays a key role in overseeing the governance aspects of the organization's application portfolio, with a particular focus on records management, business relations, and the onboarding of new applications. This role involves developing and implementing governance frameworks, ensuring compliance, managing the onboarding lifecycle, and optimizing the portfolio to align with business objectives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

Records and Information Governance:  

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the governance of records within the application portfolio.  
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of application-related records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.  
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and maintain effective electronic document management systems.  

Business Relations Governance:  

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish and maintain positive business relationships within the context of the application portfolio.  
  • Develop and enforce governance processes for business interactions, contracts, and partnerships related to applications.  
  • Ensure that business relations align with organizational goals and contribute to the strategic objectives of the application portfolio.  

Application Onboarding:  

  • Lead and coordinate the onboarding of new applications into the organization’s APM framework, ensuring alignment with governance standards and strategic goals.  
  • Define and maintain onboarding procedures including intake, assessment, documentation, classification, and integration.  
  • Work cross-functionally with business owners, IT, compliance, and security teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process.  
  • Ensure that onboarding activities meet compliance, security, and operational requirements from day one.  
  • Maintain a centralized repository for onboarding documentation and status tracking.  
  • Continuously enhance onboarding workflows and criteria in line with lessons learned and evolving business needs.  

Compliance and Risk Management:  

  • Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to application portfolio management, records, business relations, and onboarding.  
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions as needed.  

Documentation and Reporting:  

  • Maintain documentation related to APM governance policies, onboarding procedures, and compliance efforts.  
  • Generate reports to communicate the status of records, onboarding activities, and business relations governance within the application portfolio.  

Training and Communication:  

  • Provide training to APM teams and other stakeholders on governance best practices, onboarding protocols, compliance requirements, and the importance of records management and positive business relations.  
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between departments to ensure effective governance and onboarding across the application portfolio.  

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Information Management, or a related field. (Advanced degree or certifications are a plus.)  
  • Proven experience in APM, with a focus on governance, records management, onboarding, and business relations.  
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  
  • Experience with APM tools and technologies.  
  • Project management experience is desirable.  
  • SNOW (ServiceNow) experience is an Must preferably administration and development.  
  • ITIL, ITSM, and Service Management knowledge.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.  
  • Ethical and principled approach to APM governance, onboarding, records management, and business relations.  
  • 4-8 Years of experience  in role related field 
  • Language Skills: Fluency in written & spoken English 

Travel Requirements: Your flexibility to travel 10% of the time. This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required.
