Business Unit Description
MERC "Middle East Resourcing Center" Business Unit is the deparmtment responsible for supporting the operations for the Consulting Line of Service. The department focuses on multiple competencies such as Resourcing, Business Development, Talent Aqusition & Recruitment, Human Capital, Communications, and Central Finance. MERC Consulting team contributes in the achievements of the consulting line of service by providing the backend support required to delivere high end results to our clients.
Job Summary
Roles & Responsibilities
- Carry on pre-engagement and post-engagement compliance tasks associated with client and project onboarding for the Consulting LoS.
- Collaborate with the Engagement teams and independence team to oversee the onboarding process for third parties. This includes initiating, completing, and obtaining approval for the Joint Business Relationship (JBR).
- Facilitate yearly compliance reviews by working closely with the central review team and engagement leads.
- Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines to ensure that necessary risk assessments are completed on time, enabling regulatory compliance.
- Communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with a diverse range of key stakeholders across the firm.
- Facilitate and manage relationship checks, AFS (Anti-Fraud Solutions), KYCs (Know Your Customer), and Engagement acceptance assessments on the Salesforce platform. Ensure timely completion of mandatory risk assessment questionnaires.
- Liaise with the engagement team and audit partner to assist with AFS initiation, completion, and approval.
- Provide continuous feedback on Salesforce features and actively participate in resolving risk alerts within the Salesforce platform.
- Collaborate with the data quality team to validate, verify, and approve client information on the Ipower platform.
- Assist and support engagement teams with their inquiries and requests. Deliver compliance training, if required, on a regular basis.
- Manage and facilitate project closure, ensuring accurate documentation on the SAVE IT platform in collaboration with the engagement team.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant major with a preference for a Masters.
Years of Experience: 1+ years of experience preferably with a background in consulting.
