Those in goods, products and services procurement at PwC will focus on executing, managing and optimising purchase processes and some supplier relationship management. You will be responsible for assisting the organisation in obtaining quality goods at the appropriate price, driving cost savings and operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Operations
- Support the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, vendor selection, quotation analysis, and purchase order creation.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Process purchase requests and ensure timely issuance of purchase orders.
- Track orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation.
Supplier Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance related to quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Support supplier evaluations and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
- Assist in resolving supplier-related issues and discrepancies.
Supply Chain Coordination
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment planning.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Assist in mitigating supply chain risks and addressing supply shortages.
Reporting & Analysis
- Analyze procurement data and generate reports on spend, supplier performance, and procurement activities.
- Support cost optimization initiatives and identify savings opportunities.
- Monitor procurement KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering (required).
- 1-2 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Knowledge of procurement and supply chain best practices.
- Understanding of inventory management principles and supplier management.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to procurement analytics and reporting.
- Experience working with ERP procurement modules.
- Knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies.
- Familiarity with procurement compliance and contract management.
