As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
Legal & Regulatory:

Possess a critical mindset and support on all contractual reviews, with an ability to highlight key risks to the reporting manager and suggest mitigations

Be able to lead confidently on all contractual negotiations and discussions, internally and with the client.

Support RM in closing off contractual matters within the agreed turnaround time of 5-7 days.
-
Track and manage all incoming requests and keep internal/external stakeholders updated.

Suggest process improvements and support RM in continuous improvement efforts and relating staff training
-
Manage Regulatory needs and evaluation process, working with project management teams and the external regulator
-
Support regional team in their licensing and regulatory matters [for ex: providing policy guidance]
Compliance :
Own and lead all matters related to PwC compliance. This will include but not limited to
-
Document policies, process and risk responses in line with PwC QMSE frameworks
-
Be able to upskill quickly on matters related to engagement documentation and reviews and support RM in proper completion and review of project files

Support RM in highlighting critical risks in significant value files and work closely with the team to resolve

Support RM in implementing an audit plan, select samples, do first reviews and report key findings
-
Prepare key action points report showing status of the above, concerns, highlights and mitigating actions.
Quality & Risk Management:

Possess business and technical acumen to fully understand the business and suggest continuous improvement measures

Support in the refresh and revamp of policies & processes, working X-function to brainstorm, gaps analysis and implement process improvements

Support RM in Quality & Risk Assessment for Academy. For example understanding and update of overall business risks, operational risks complete with recommendation for controls, monitoring and performance measures.

Support RM in updating microsite [knowledge Hub]
Resource & Cost Optimization

Support RM in bettering operations through general cost and resource control and optimization

Prepare and Review recurring costs metrics for general expenses, highlighting inefficiencies and ways to cost control

Review resource utilization metrics and suggest ways for improvement, spotting gaps where staff is underutilized and have proactive discussions on how to bridge this gap

Support RM in reviewing profitability tracker for opportunities and highlight key risks
Reporting & Presentations:

Support RM in preparing key reports

Lead operations reporting, working closely with other members to pull this together

Prepare training presentations and support RM in staff training
-
Draft professional level comms for wider team usage.
Digital Acumen

Proactively support RM in automating the function through suggesting use of digital tools and platforms

Be very comfortable with MS office [preparing reports/presentations/process maps etc]
