Line of Service Overview

At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.

Business Unit Overview

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will design, build, and deliver digital products using modern frontend and backend technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into secure, reliable, and cloud-ready applications. You are expected to have deep expertise in at least one core technology and general knowledge across the rest of the stack.

How You’ll Contribute

Full Stack Engineering

• Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js, Django, FastAPI, or Python.
• Build modern web applications using React, Next.js, or Angular.
• Design and optimize data models using PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Integrate internal and external systems using REST APIs and secure communication patterns.

Technical Leadership (Manager Level — if applicable)

• Lead and mentor 1–2 developers, ensuring code quality and engineering best practices.
• Own the delivery of assigned technical workstreams.
• Contribute to solution design, architectural discussions, and key technical decisions.

Quality, Security & Innovation

• Ensure all solutions comply with PwC cybersecurity, architectural, and cloud standards.
• Implement modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Explore and adopt modern engineering approaches, including AI-assisted development.
• Utilize low-code/no-code platforms (such as Power Platform) where appropriate.

What You’ll Bring

Senior Associate

• 3–5 years of full-stack development experience.
• Ability to independently own and deliver technical components.

Manager

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
• 1+ years of leading development workstreams or mentoring engineers.

Technical Skills

Must Have

• (Experience in at least one category and general knowledge of the others)
• Programming Languages: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or other mainstream languages.
• Frontend: React, Next.js, Angular.
• Backend: Node.js, Django, FastAPI.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Cloud: Azure, GCP.
• DevOps: Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
• Integration: API development and system integration using REST APIs.

Good to Have

• Awareness of AI capabilities, LLMs, or AI-assisted development.
• Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Power Platform).
