Line of Service Overview
Our Deals practice helps clients create, capture, and deliver value through mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and strategic investments. We provide end-to-end advisory services, combining deep industry knowledge with technical expertise to support clients in achieving their growth and transformation objectives.
Business Unit Overview
The Deals Strategy & Operations (DSO) team delivers strategic, commercial, and operational insights to corporates, private equity firms, family offices, and government entities. We advise on investment and divestment decisions, evaluate business plans, and address critical operational and transformational challenges to help clients achieve sustainable outcomes.
How You’ll Contribute
As a DSO Senior Associate supporting Healthcare and Pharma, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct feasibility studies, commercial due diligence, market assessments, and growth strategies for healthcare and pharma clients
- Structure analysis and apply strategic frameworks to solve client problems and develop actionable recommendations
- Take ownership of engagement components and collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality reports and presentations
- Research, aggregate, and analyse data to extract insights and support strategic decision-making
- Assist in preparing business plans and evaluating company strategies against market performance and competitor strength
- Support internal business development activities and contribute to proposals and thought leadership
- Actively participate in client engagements, working closely with Managers and Senior Managers
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of relevant experience in M&A, strategy consulting, or corporate finance, preferably within healthcare or pharmaceuticals
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus
- Strong understanding of feasibility studies, market research, and business plan development
- Experience conducting commercial due diligence and strategic assessments for large organisations
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to synthesise complex information into clear insights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to deliver messages effectively to diverse audiences
- Arabic language skills are an advantage
- Your flexibility to travel 20%–40% of the time. This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required.
