Our Middle East Assurance practice includes over 2,300 people based in 12 countries across the region and is part of PwC’s global network that is operating worldwide. PwC Middle East’s Assurance practice combines the right mix of human-led and tech powered solutions to provide our clients with quality audits and other risk services that create confidence and impact in our region and across society. 

Business Unit Overview

At PwC, our people in brand management, marketing and sales focus on collaboration to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives. These individuals focus on driving revenue growth, promoting the Firm's services, enhancing brand visibility, and capturing new business opportunities. They utilise market research, digital marketing, creative campaigns, and effective sales strategies to engage clients, enhance the firm's brand and market presence, and achieve organisational targets.

How You’ll Contribute

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team, drive meaningful impact, and grow professionally. As a Proposal Writer Manager, your responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • The role requires you to be proactive and at the forefront of our most important Middle East Assurance opportunities - effectively supporting our Partners and Engagement teams to develop proposal content, project manager, innovate, and drive the overall Proposal process from RFP stage to client orals.
  • Ability to develop a comprehensive proposal response plan from scratch and implement - as well as develop the overall pursuit strategy for specific opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Engagement Teams to think strategically about the opportunity - develop a clear win strategy for each Proposal, ensuring compelling win themes and differentiators.
  • Consistently lead and manage concurrently large, strategic proposal submissions, including leveraging the knowledge of a professional services firm's operations, internal processes, tools, and support services.
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of key elements, terms, and processes found within a winning professional services proposal.
  • Build and sustain relationships with key account, Industry, and solution delivery Directors and Partners through high quality support on their opportunities.  
  • Support engagement teams on drafting compelling executive summaries and value propositions, manage proposal resources and prepare and/or coordinate complex written and verbal materials.
  • Present options for innovation within our proposal's documents (for example, using digital assets) to enhance the client experience - and drive the output with the relevant teams.
  • Ability to organize and collaborate with individuals at all levels of seniority across multiple territories, where required.
  • Coordinate resources (designers, translators, technical subject matter specialists, etc.) to drive the efficient development of proposals and bring the best of the firm to each opportunity.
  • Ability to be creative and flexible in thinking and problem solving. Marrying this with the ability to bring experience and knowledge from prior experience to each new opportunity.
  • Lead and deliver on assigned initiatives/projects in line with the Pursuit Strategy.

What You’ll Bring

You are ambitious and you utilize opportunities to grow and develop. In addition, you recognize yourself in the following characteristics:

  • A degree in business, accounting, or another related academic major.
  • 5-7 years of experience leading proposal development and management on strategic opportunities.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written) is a plus.
  • Ability to establish and nurture positive relationships across all levels.
  • Promoting and encouraging others to value differences when working in diverse teams.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multiple regional and global teams to execute proposal processes, coordinate responses, and draft key content.
  • Skilled in working with cross-functional teams to develop content and facilitate resource allocation across opportunities.
  • Experience driving opportunities from pre-RFP stage through to proposal submission and client oral presentations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent written communication abilities to ensure compelling and accurate proposal messaging.
  • Familiarity with Big4 firm structures, offerings, and operating models.
