How You’ll Contribute
As a Policies and Compliance Senior Associate, you will support the firm’s commitment to integrity, fairness, and operational excellence. Working within the People Experience team, you will help strengthen our policy governance model, advance a robust compliance culture, and ensure consistency in employee relations practices across the Middle East.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Policy Governance & Development
- Draft, review, and update internal policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure alignment with local regulations, PwC standards, and recognised best practices.
- Maintain a structured, well-governed and centralized policy library with strong version control and simplification principles.
- Support harmonisation and standardisation of policies across territories in line with the oneHC operating model.
- Collaborate with the various stakeholders to ensure feedback is collected on Policy amendments and submitted to the function lead
Compliance Framework & Risk Management
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the firm’s compliance framework, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct compliance checks, internal audits, and risk assessments, ensuring findings are documented and remediation actions are tracked.
- Review the monthly regulatory and legislative developments report across the region and assess their impact on HC policies and people operations and propose amendments to policies where needed.
- Support in yearly internal audit observations and collaborate with the stakeholders involved to clear the outstanding observations.
Employee Relations (ER) Advisory & Case Management
- Manage and support a range of employee relations matters, including investigations, grievances, disciplinary processes, and performance-related issues—ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance with local labour laws.
- Provide advisory support to stakeholders on policy interpretation, compliance expectations, and ER best practices.
- Ensure ER documentation is accurate, confidential, and aligned with governance requirements.
Awareness, Education & Experience Enablement
- Lead policy awareness initiatives, training sessions, and communication campaigns to strengthen understanding, compliance, and HC capability across the business.
- Contribute to creating a culture of transparency, accountability, and trust that aligns with PX experience principles.
- Support change management and stakeholder engagement when introducing new or revised policies.
- Support in the introduction of Automation, Tech and AI driven solutions to enhance access to information pertaining to Policies & Compliance.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Human Capital, Ethics, Risk & Quality, Legal, and other internal teams to ensure cohesive and effective policy application.
- Champion oneHC and PX principles by promoting consistency, agility, and simplification across all compliance and ER practices.
What You’ll Bring
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in policies and compliance, employee relations, HR governance, labour law, investigations, risk, or a related discipline.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of employee relations practices, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks, internal controls, and policy governance.
- Familiarity with Middle East labour laws and regulatory requirements (regional experience preferred).
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Confident stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge constructively.
