Business Unit Overview
The Chief Technology & AI Office powers PwC Middle East’s One Firm Tech and AI ambition by translating strategic priorities into scalable, business led AI solutions that improve how the firm works, serves clients, and creates value. The CTAIO operates end-to-end across the AI lifecycle, from opportunity shaping and 
solution design to deployment, adoption, change management, and value realization. The office provides orchestration, technical fluency, governance, and feedback loops needed to turn innovation into reusable assets, measurable commercial outcomes, and lasting competitive advantage.

How You’ll Contribute
As a Commercial Portfolio Lead, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Operate end-to-end as the business-facing lead for converting priority Tech & AI opportunities into measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Work closely with LoS and IFS leaders to identify, shape and challenge high-value opportunities that directly advance three of PwC ME’s Tech and AI ambition pillars and growth plays: 
    Reinventing the Lines of Service: reimagining service line value propositions and define the future state in an AI-first ecosystem with fit for purpose delivery models 
    Driving value creation through net new offerings: unlocking growth and client value through new offerings as well as tech AI enabling existing service offerings aligned to 
    priority sectors and domains
    Delivering IFS / Client Zero business solutions and growth: business solutions for IFS reinvention and developing Client 0 case studies and use cases for joint GTM with Alliance partners
  • Translate business demand into clear opportunity statements, credible value cases and practical activation plans.
  • Share ownership for outcomes with LoS and IFS leaders, ensuring opportunities are tied to ROI, growth, efficiency or operational value.
  • Bring commercial, change and workflow design thinking to ensure solutions are adoptable, scalable and embedded into the business.
  • Challenge technical options constructively, ensuring proposed solutions are feasible, business relevant and aligned to enterprise priorities.
  • Create a feedback loop with the Centre of Excellence and product teams to identify reusable patterns, product gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to reuse assets, solutions and approaches across LoS and IFS to strengthen the enterprise AI portfolio.
  • Route opportunities into intake, driving clarity across roles, decision points, dependencies and next steps to ensure opportunities progress at pace and with strong ownership.


What You’ll Bring

  • Years of experience: Experience at Senior Manager level, with a track record of shaping commercial portfolios, product portfolios, business cases or driving transformation and change initiatives.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, technology, strategy, innovation, finance, operations or a related discipline.
  • Designations & Certifications: Professional qualifications or recognised certifications in strategy, innovation, AI/digital transformation, product leadership, portfolio management, change leadership or benefits realisation would be advantageous.
  • Technical Skills: Fluency across Tech, AI, automation, data or digital transformation. The candidate does not need to be a developer, but should understand technology delivery lifecycles, workflow design, data considerations and what makes solutions scalable, reusable and commercially viable.
  • Soft Skills: Commercial judgement, executive presence, high autonomy, structured problem solving, communication, influencing, prioritisation and the ability to simplify ambiguity into clear actions. Ability to work confidently with technical teams and challenge solution options.
  • Language Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Arabic or other  regional language skills would be advantageous.
  • Travel Requirements: Your flexibility to travel if required. This means we may require you to work  away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required. Where possible, we will take your preferences into account and strike a balance between meeting your career development/personal needs and those of the business and our clients.
